        Condition 1- Aim

These general conditions below are made and designed exclusively for the reservation by the guest to stay at

Mas Conil  30190 Aubussargues

and to facilitate and clarify the terms of your stay, your arrival and departure time.  A cordial welcome is reserved for our guests
and we wish to assure our guests of a personal welcome and with our knowledge of the region to make their stay as enjoyable as
possible. 

 General Information

 

  As with all guest houses (chambre d’hôtes) the Mas Conil is also the private home of the proprietor.   The area reserved for guests is under the same roof as the private accommodation.   For these reasons as to respect the privacy of our guests and ourselves, to comply with our security and to maintain the tranquillity of the Mas, we are therefore unable to allow non guests in the bedrooms and in or around the swimming pool.

 

The Mas Conil complies with French Law and smoking is not allowed anywhere internally in the building.

 

The courtyard is used for evening dining in the warmer seasons when weather permits.   Guests who wish to have dinner at the Mas should make a reservation not less than 48 hours in advance.

 

The facilities at Mas Conil do not include amusements suitable for children within the grounds and there are no games or play areas and there is no provision for baby sitting.  

 

Swimming Pool:    Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times at the pool, despite this being a safe design. For reasons of pool hygiene and safety (wasps and similar insects) no meals or glassware can be taken or used around the swimming pool.   We ask our guests not to use the pool after 19.30.

 

The Period design and character of the Mas does unfortunately not permit us to welcome guests with a mobility handicap as our rooms and facilities are all on the first floor.

 

Guests accompanied by their domestic pet should inform Mas Conil in advance of arrival. These animals must be kept on the lease inside the Mas and in the courtyard.  The animals must not be left alone in the bedrooms during the day.   A protection against leishmaniasis is strongly advised

 

 Your room is available for your arrival between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm

 

Continental Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 10.00 am

 

Your room must be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of your departure.

 

There is no room tax for your stay,

 

We regret that Holiday cheques are not accepted

 

Condition 2 – Duration of your stay.

The guest having made a firm reservation for a set period will not be able under any circumstances to invoke any right to
permanent occupancy 

 Condition 3 - Reservation Confirmation

The reservation becomes effective ten days after the client has sent a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay with a minimum
payment of one night per each reserved room.   The price includes all taxes and charges and there is no room tax.  We will
confirm your reservation by email or by mail as soon as we are in possession of your deposit.

Condition 4 – Cancellation of Reservation by the Client

All cancellations must be notified by letter addressed to Mas Conil, Chemin de Collorgues, 30190 Aubussargues
or email ( hotes@masconil.com) addressed to the Proprietor with advice of receipt or registered mail

  a)     Cancellation before the commencement of the stay : If the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the start of the stay
the deposit is forfeited and retained by the owner

  b)     If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay the deposit is forfeited and the owner reserves
the right to reclaim the total cost of the stay.     

  c)     If the Guest appears after 19.00 hrs on the first day of the reservation without having advised the proprietor the reservation
 becomes void and the proprietor is able to reset the accommodation.  The account is forfeited and is retained by the owner
who reserves the right to reclaim the cost of the stay.

   d)     If the dates during the stay are shortened the respective part of the cost of the stay which has not been completed is
forfeited to the owner.

Condition 5 – Cancellation by the Proprietor

When before the start of the stay the owner cancels the reservation, he must inform the guest by registered letter.
The guest without prejudice to recourse or redress of possible incurred damages will immediately refund the deposit previously paid.

 Condition 6 – Your arrival

The guest must arrive on the first day of the reservation between 16.00 – 19.00 hours.  In the case of a delay in arrival
or arrival at an alternative time the guest should advise the proprietor in advance.

 
Condition 7 - Balance to pay

The rest of the payment for your stay and possible extra meals and services used must be paid on the morning of departure.

 Condition 8 – Use of the Guest areas

In order to keep the charm and the tranquillity of the Mas Conil we ask our guests to respect and keep the rooms in a good order.

 Condition 9 – Number of Guests per reservation

When the reservation is made it is for an agreed number of guests.  If the number of guests on arrival or subsequently exceeds
the agreed number the proprietor can refuse to accommodate the extra guests. The initial booking will however remain
the same. No reimbursement will be possible in case of an amendment to the initial number of guests.

 Condition 10 – Animals

The reservation can include the possibility, on specific request, that the guest can be accompanied by a domestic pet.   If not requested beforehand, the owner may refuse to accommodate the animals. The conditions of the booking however remain the same. No reimbursement will be possible in case of early departure of the guest.

 Condition 11 – Complaints

The complaints can be then submitted to the Prefecture du Gard, 10 avenue Feuchères, 30045 Nîmes, who will be able to deal with your request. In case of persistent disagreement, the competent courthouse is located in Nîmes.
